ABOUT EGM TEMPERING

The son of Richard Echols- owner of A&A Glazing contractors in Decatur, Georgia, Ron Echols was destined to follow in the footsteps of his father. Ron not only emulated his dad’s vison for the glass industry but also his fierce entrepreneurial spirit and devotion to delivering on a promise of excellence. Fresh out of the Navy, Ron went to work for several highly revered glass companies before taking the personal leap into ownership. With the encouragement of this wife, Donna, he launched Echols Glass & Mirror in 1988.

In 2007, to keep up with demand, Echols Glass & Mirror relocated its headquarters to a full-service production facility in Buford, Georgia. This strategic move not only allowed the company to expand into custom work and fabricating but also paved the way for Echols to become a go-to resource for other companies within the glass industry. Currently Echols serves over 235 glass companies all over the southeast. Echols Glass takes pride in our team that shares the same passion for quality custom craftsmanship and superior customer service.

EGM is one of few companies in the state of GA that has a tempering oven. Our oven tempers as thin as 1/16 and as thick as ½ with sizes up to 84 x160. With 23,000 square feet of fabrication & machinery, the possibilities are endless for your custom glass needs! EGM has truly found its niche working with other glass companies.
